An MSP has called for tighter regulation of will-writing companies which can leave people seeking debt solutions.

The appeal was made by Fergus Ewing on the BBC's Panorama, as it looked into the firms that can appear to be a cheaper alternative to using solicitors to write up a will.

Mr Ewing comments that all of Britain needs protection from the "crooks, cowboys and conmen" that sometimes set up these firms.
