
British consumers may say they're worried about debt problems, but the latest research into debt habits reveals that debt problems could be mounting up once again.
The survey of more than 1,000 UK adults by high street bank HSBC, shows that people are not altering how they handle they finances.
Instead, many are choosing to bury their heads in the sand, with more than two thirds refusing to change their financial habits in attempt to become more stable.
Worryingly it appears the youngest generation has been hit the hardest by the recession, with more than eight in ten 18 to 24 year-olds saying they worry about their future debt problems.
Kevin Still, Director of Atlantic Financial Management says "Doing nothing about mounting debt problems will only worsen the position for UK consumers that bury their heads in the sand.
