More small companies should be used to help with preparing for the London Olympics in order to save money and possibly ward off more debt misery for taxpayers.
This comes from Telegraph Business Club member Norman Kemp, who wants to see an end to money going to waste by organisers only sub-contracting to small firms.
He remarks that by not coming to smaller companies like his direct, more money is being siphoned off at each level of the deal, ultimately leading to more taxpayers' money being spent than is necessary.
In turn, this increases the burden on the population and leads to more seeking debt management solutions.
Mr Kemp concludes by asking "why can't the procurement people think small for a good service because we all know that going big means a lousy service and high prices?".
