The GMB union has come out and attacked Conservative pension plans, saying that they will lead to "catastrophic" financial problems for many.
They state that their manifesto protects the wealthy whilst "leaving hard working savers throughout the economy at the mercy of Tory spending cuts."
However, David Cameron has stated that he wants to give "dignity and security in old age" by re-linking pensions and earning to help with the finances of older people.
Gordon Brown also wants to re-link pensions and earning by 2012 and help all women ward off personal debt by giving them a full state pension.
Nick Clegg plans to reintroduce the link "immediately" and help people who are struggling with energy bills by changing the way that they are charged.
