The British public could decide on tax levels if the Conservatives come to power, which is bound to be welcomed by those with financial problems or personal debt issues.
Their election manifesto pledges to give back the "power to the people" by letting them control how public money is spent and sack MPs who abuse their expenses.
The Tories also plan to help the public with the new Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) defining borrowing rates for store cards to help prevent people getting in debt caused by them.
They also plan to lower the numbers out of work by giving the "unemployed a hand up, not a hand out."
Labour has condemned the plans saying that it would leave people "on their own" in the current financial climate, whilst the Lib Dems called it "style over substance."
